Chapter 14- Craig
and His Puddle
Craig
was startled when walking in the doors Friday to see three birthday cakes set
up on tables in the entry hall. It wasn’t his birthday was it? But then why
would there be three of them? He finally managed to get his mind off of himself
for half a second think back and remembered that this was the day of the
birthday party Kiley had set up. He was excited to have a properly planned
birthday party in the house again. William’s idea of a party for the triplets
was a fiasco and an ordeal he never wanted to go through again.
Guests
began trickling in through the front gates as Velma decided she would go first and
not let Daphne steal her spotlight.
William
looked behind her and was surprised to see his little sister Helen there. The
triplets had aged up a few months ago though they hadn’t visited the estate
since. William still thought his siblings should have stayed there and been
raised with him.
If only
William would have looked behind him, he would have been in for a bigger shock.
Heather had shown up as well. Heather was there for Velma. She had struck up an
unlikely friendship with Velma and was there to cheer her on.
Velma
made her wish and blew out the candles as more people crowded through the front
door. Daphne even managed to force her lips into a smile for her sister.
This
random chick is TOTALLY STOKED to be at this party!
Kiley
shows up a second too late to embarrass her teenage daughter. Daphne, however
sees her outfit and is predictably coldly infuriated. Velma is just happy that
she is old enough to be out on her own and not under her mother’s protection
any longer. She won’t move out until after graduation because William begged
her to stay as a favor to him. She agreed as he managed to help her pull her
grade up to a C.
Daphne
decides that the attention needs to be back on her, pronto. So before anyone even gets a slice of Velma’s cake, she’s
already trying to get the attention to her own eminent aging up. The Ice Queen
returns.
As the
crowd gathers around her she again sets her face into its classically bored
expression.
Daphne
just wishes to be this beautiful forever.
She
gets her wish. Oscar is stunned he landed her. He can’t wait to melt that iceberg.
Peter
attended at the urging of his sisters. He still hasn’t had a good birthday and
resents that these interlopers got the party he should have had. He’s
determined to get to talk to his dad that night. He and Kristine have not been
getting along and he hopes he can move back to the family estate. Bernadette
might not like it, but he thinks Helen might even want to move back too. Helen
strongly disapproves of her mother’s amorous activities and is also butting
heads with her mother. Kristine thinks her kids should take care of her instead
of the other way around, and Helen refuses to pet and dote on her mother as
Bernadette does.
Marcie
finally gets a turn at the cake. Her best friend from school, Bianca Black, showed up and
cheers her on.
Marcie
has a very particular wish. A boy she’s had a crush on at school recently aged
up himself, and Kiley had made sure she had had him invited to the party.
Marcie wishes with all her heart that Trenton will show up and wish her a Happy
Birthday.
After
blowing out her candles, she carefully scans the crowd gathered. The one person
she wants to see most she doesn’t see.
Just as
she gives up and decides to go ahead and have a good time without him, (hey it is her birthday after all,) the door
opens to let in the very late arriving guest. It’s Trenton.
Trenton
joins in the festivities as she feels her growth spurt hit.
To her
delight, he’s still cheering after she’s aged up into her athletic clothes.
Ugh.
Craig
takes the moment to make another kind of scene. He’s been so caught up in
singing the same song over and over and over that he totally overlooks his
rather full bladder. To his horror, there it goes…
Marcie focuses on her cake as she
smells something odd and hears Craig gasp behind her.
‘Do I
really look that bad?’ Marcie thinks with a sharp pang of embarrassment.
Helen
and William both caught exactly what was going on. They both look sharply at
Craig as he looks the other way, hoping no one else noticed, or will notice.
Craig
hides his face once he catches sight of his kids staring at him in horror.
“You
didn’t see that did you?” He asks.
He
decides that humor is going to diffuse the situation for him.
In his
very best Steve Urkel voice he looks at his kids sheepishly, “Did I do that?”
“Yes,
dad, you did that. Gross. It’s gross. It’s not funny.” Peter sharply tells
Craig deciding on the spot that he’s totally using that to get to move back in.
Marcie
is even more thrilled when Trenton grabs the first slice, overlooking Craig and
his puddle on the floor.
Picture
spam of that baby face. *pinches cheeks
When he
sits next to her at the table, Marcie decides on the spot that this is the best
birthday ever. After all, how often does your crush like you back?

Birthdays
Birthdays galore! Daphne’s birthday was actually supposed to take place after
William’s but I needed her O-U-T for plot reasons. So she aged up early. She’s
frigid man. I’ve never seen a sim so absolutely cold-hearted. I thought she was
going to be all peaches and cream… Nooooooo. Not her. I feel for Oscar. She’s
also the skinniest sim I’ve ever had. I had to add meat to her bones when I
changed her clothes. Her weight slider was ALL the way down. I usually prefer
at LEAST a little bit of room there. It looks like Marcie is almost as skinny.
After editing Velma and Daphne I wasn’t in the mood to change her look too.
Besides, she’s naturally athletic, so I’m just going to go with it. I’ll pretty
her up later.
And
Trenton has the cutest little baby face ever! Too bad he’s eeeevil. Lol
And
finally, Craig. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I see London I see France! I see Craig
peed his Pants!
